Picture yourself catching the holiday spirit in Medina County, where special events make every season worth celebrating. The city of Medina’s annual Candlelight Walk, held Nov. 20 through 22, serves as its kickoff to the holiday season. From the lighting of the annual gazebo Christmas tree and historic uptown district to carriage rides, caroling, shopping, visits with Santa and the Holiday Parade of Lights, the event is a visitor’s dream and is sure to spice up your holiday cheer. It’s also a great way to plan your holiday gift and meal prep while enjoying destinations like Castle Noel or Boyert’s Farm, where you can pick out your family Christmas tree and browse gifts and décor for your holiday gatherings.

The event welcomes guests from near and far, creating a magical winter backdrop while showcasing all the amenities the city has to offer, including lodging, a vibrant food scene, entertainment and shopping. As title sponsor, the Medina County Convention & Visitors Bureau also plans activities and celebrations throughout the weekend, making the festival another great reason to plan a winter getaway to Medina County.
