Ubiquitous rainbow-colored canopies adorn the Rainbow™ residential play systems that are common in many Michigan backyards. These “swing-sets-on-steroids” keep kids entertained for hours. But what’s a family to do when winter sets in and the snow-covered play set sits unoccupied in the backyard? Head over to the Kids Gotta Play retail showroom in New Hudson, Michigan. This mega-store is home to award-winning residential play equipment where kids can continue to play where summer left off.

During daily Play Zone hours, the folks at Kids Gotta Play open their doors to families, moms’ clubs and other groups looking for a safe, indoor play area. Kids can climb; swing and slide their way around the popular Rainbow ™ play systems that are on display. The physical challenges of maneuvering rock walls, mega-slides and monkey bars will build your child’s confidence and burn off some pent-up winter energy.

Opportunities for imaginative play are endless as no part of the 20,000-square-foot showroom is off limits. While the kids are shooting hoops, jumping on spring-free trampolines or playing hide-and-seek in the wooden playhouses, parents can sit back and watch the winter doldrums fade.

Looking for a unique and inexpensive birthday party location? With access to the showroom as part of your package, the themed party rooms will give your child a birthday experience like no other. Pick a timeframe (weekends are included), bring your own food, drinks and decorations and let the fun begin.

Play Zone hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and the cost is $5 per child. There’s also a free play hour on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
