Hail Caesar

Caesars Windsor Hotel & Casino
Spring/Summer 2009
Hail Caesar
You’re not taking much of a gamble when you visit Caesars Windsor Hotel & Casino — at least not until you hit the gaming hall, featuring myriad slot machines and a plethora of gaming tables.

For those not risking cash, it’s a safe bet to indulge in the Windsor, Ontario, resort’s many amenities. There are a number of fine-dining options at Caesars Windsor, set on the banks of the Detroit River. Nero’s Steakhouse offers a variety of excellent cuts along with an excellent view of the panoramic Detroit skyline.

Nightlife spills over from the casino into Cosmos Lounge, a luxe club with an extensive drink menu and a huge bar, stretching the length of the lounge. The VU Bar is a more casual nightspot, featuring an outdoor patio with a spectacular panoramic view. Nearby, national recording artists and comics entertain at the 5,000-capacity Colosseum.

To help guests stay in shape, the hotel and casino features a 10,000-square-foot, atrium-style fitness center with an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and exercise equipment.

To top it off, the rooms are plush — with beds covered by 400-thread-count sheets. Each of the 758 rooms comes complete with wireless Internet access and a clock radio that plays CDs. From your room in one of the hotel’s two towers, enjoy views of the Windsor waterfront.
